Since our inception, the University of Illinois-Deloitte Foundation Center for Business Analytics has focused on bringing high-quality data analytics curriculum to classrooms and learners worldwide. But as technology evolves, the skills needed to succeed in modern business are expanding rapidly.
To keep pace with these shifts, we are broadening our scope and officially changing our name to The University of Illinois-Deloitte Foundation Center for Business Emerging Technologies.

We have swapped out “Business Analytics” for “Business Emerging Technologies” to better reflect our expanded mission.

Why the Change?
Data analytics is still a huge part of what we do, but the modern business world is increasingly shaped by a wider ecosystem of technologies like artificial intelligence, automation, and blockchain. By expanding our focus to “Business Emerging Technologies”, we can develop and deliver educational resources across these rapidly accelerating fields, ensuring students and professionals are ready for what comes next.
A Global Impact
This new chapter builds on an incredible foundation. To date, materials created by the Center have been downloaded nearly 5,000 times, with our courses and case studies being used across 48 U.S. states and six continents. We are incredibly proud of this global footprint and remain deeply committed to making high-quality business education accessible to everyone.
How to Get Started on Our New Website
To support our expanded mission, we have launched a new website with a streamlined user experience. Accessing our growing library of materials is simple:
- Returning Members: If you had an account on our previous website, your profile has been securely moved over. For security reasons during the platform transition, you will just need to reset your password the first time you sign in to your new account. If the reset email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or write to EmergingTech@business.illinois.edu and we will help you sign in.
- Verified Faculty: If you were already approved as an educator on our old site, your verified status remains completely intact. You will still be able to seamlessly download all faculty-restricted materials, teaching notes, and case solutions without needing to go through any further verification.
- New Students & Public Users: If you are new to the platform, create a free account and activate it from the confirmation email. You can then download course materials and case studies; case solutions and teaching notes are for verified instructors.
