Case Study
Data Storytelling for Business Analytics: Practical Applications
Learning data visualization principles and techniques using Tableau and Python

About this case study
This project provides a structured learning path for data visualization, designed to help business students and professionals improve how they communicate insights through data. The project is motivated by a common business challenge: decision-makers are often presented with poorly designed or misleading visuals that obscure, rather than clarify, the underlying story within the data.
To address this issue, the course introduces core visualization principles, hands-on case studies, and practical guidance for creating effective dashboards. Learners will use Tableau to build professional, interactive visualizations and Python to support reproducibility and deeper analytical exploration.
By combining design principles with modern analytical tools, the project equips participants with the skills to create visualizations that are both accurate and compelling. Ultimately, the course aims to strengthen data-driven decision-making by helping learners communicate business insights more clearly and effectively in real-world contexts.
