Mehmet Eren Ahsen

Biography

Eren Ahsen completed his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas and did his postdoctoral studies at IBM Watson Research Center at Yorktown Heights. He spent two years as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics and Genomic Sciences at Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor of Information System in the Department of Business Administration at the Gies College of Business and a Health Innovation Professor at the Carle Illinois School of Medicine. His primary research interest lies in the fields of decision analysis, machine learning, algorithmic innovation, and their applications to healthcare.
