Zilong Liu

Biography

Dr. Zilong Liu holds a Ph.D. in finance and has an extensive background in credit risk research. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois, he teaches Business Analytics II, Database Management and Design, and Big Data Infrastructure. His research is primarily centered on equity research, with a particular focus on uncovering bias and disparities in AI algorithms and promoting fair lending practices. Dr. Liu is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic research and practical applications, aiming to contribute to a more equitable and inclusive financial system.
